Senior Utility/Gas Estimator

Sr. Utility/Gas Estimator in Houston, TX: $65/hr.-$70/hr. (Contact to perm position).
Responsibilities Include: Estimate management, planning, staying in budget, and leading other Estimators. Prepare conceptual, capital cost, and service estimates. Site management/project support. Bid evaluation of cost/schedule criteria and preparing bid evaluations. Lead for presentations, proposals, and estimate reviews. Preparation of working capital analysis and proposal cash flow models. Management of estimating database.
Requirements: At least 10 years of experience in the utility, gas, oil, chemical, or refining industries with at least 6 years as an Estimator. Must have effective oral & written communication skills, strong organization and time-management skills, the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrated presentation skills, great attention to detail, and must meet deadlines. Extensive knowledge of project schedules and ability to predict cost curves. Must be able to estimate projects while supervising a group of Estimators. Able to prepare complex estimates with little supervision.
